No, not really. Such fine customisation of individual details isn't something we tend to go for. If it's really necessary, it's because we got something wrong with the defaults. I believe town names are already drawn with a smaller font than everything else.

Tim, have you given a thought to changing the text size of background map annotions independently of that of the aviation layer. In other words, it would be nice if I could make the towns' names smaller while making the airport names (and other aviation features) larger. As it is now, I can make both larger at the same time which increases clutter.

Hardly anybody has ever asked for the map text to be smaller (out of tens of thousands of subscribers) but plenty have asked for it to be bigger, which is why we recently introduced an option to change the size of it. The thickness of the route line currently varies between 1.75mm and 2.5mm depending upon your zoom level. That's pretty thin, even at its largest! If you measure it and it's larger than that, there is a problem with your device's DPI settings.

I have to say I quite like the sizing, but I accept that it may not be right for everyone, and I do tend to run SD with the map zoomed out more than in your screenshots (500k).

Have you considered changing your options so that only the ICAO identifier is shown rather than the whole name? Obviously that won't fix the track line width, but it will be one step in the direction you're looking for.

Further to my previous.
Is there a reason for the waypoint and font size being limited to minimum of 80% of the normal size?
Airstrip names come up incredidibly large on the map - look at the strip by Gatwick, OK I know it's closed!
I love the usefulness and practicality of Skydemon but after a lifetime of using FMS on 747s I would just like a slightly less clunky presentation of my route.

Can you post a screenshot along with the physical size of your device? It sounds rather like the device's DPI might be set up wrongly, if things are that oversized.

The waypoint size only reduces to 80% which is still over twice the size of an aerodrome symbol when using a useful scale.
The track line is too dominant in respect of the airspace boundaries near it. I can't find anything in the manual or the settings pages to change it.

I am using Skydemon on a Samsung Tab7 and a Huawei P9 as backup. [Both excellent]
Would it be possible to have a choice to make the width of the track line display narrower and the waypoints smaller?
I find them rather oversized in proportion to the map.
